Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Wage Rate: $30.00 Hourly (40 Hours per week)
Over Time Wage: $45.00 per hour (After 40 hours per week)
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Education requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of a 4-5 years apprenticeship program is assets
Work Experience: Previous 2-3 years related experience is required.
Languages: English
Job Duties:
• Understand electrical codes and read circuit diagrams to determine wiring layouts.
• Connect and pull wire through channels and holes in walls and floors
• Have good knowledge to repair electrical faults and parts
• Follow the safety measures at workplace all times
• Able to install new lighting fixtures and electrical controls, such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels etc.
• Able to do regular maintenance as per plan
• Repair or replace existing wiring and equipment etc by using hand tools and power tools.
• Connect wires to all type electrical fixtures and components to form circuits
• Keep record of each job done on daily basis
• Able to install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment
• Be able to handle general duties at workplace if needed
Benefits: Overtime after 40 hours per week;
The employee will get 10 days paid Vacation.
